What would Jesus spin?

The concept for this track came after an unintentional challenge that I received while attending a taping of the RuPaul show in 2019.    During the show's opening segment, RuPaul chose two members of the studio audience to come down on stage and perform on the catwalk together.  One of those audience members was a young lady who was sitting next to me and in the process of singling her out, RuPaul refers to me as, “Disco Jesus”.   Of course in my mind I'm thinking, “challenge accepted”.    (see short video clip below)

I now present to you my collaboration with the Queen of Drag herself.   I had a blast producing this track and it seems to raise my vibration every time I hear it.   The RuPaul  samples that I chose to use are all from the same segment of the show.  After starting the production it became clear to me that this track was meant to be a rally call for love,  unity, and healing.  I also see it as a clap back at the Christian Nationalist movement in this country that  relentlessly throws ignorant and hateful rhetoric at our  beautiful LBGTQ+ community;   all in the name of Jesus.  

Well, now it's time to hear the teachings of RuPaul and her take on the truth .   We also seek to answer the age old question, “What would Jesus spin”?
